About My Site…

April, 2019

Welcome to my space, also known as Reflections on Living Bravely. This is your Invitation: to relax, to reflect, and to feel. My Posts are my personal stories and perspectives about choosing to live with more confidence and more certainty. ‘Bravery’ is the simple (but not always easy) act of being true to your self, in all situations and at all times. It sounds simple, but it takes a lot courage just to look at your own life, see what’s working and what isn’t. The ‘what isn’t’ part leads us right back to the feelings we have about ourselves.

This Blog is my way of offering Relationship — even through cyberspace –to you. Whatever your age or circumstance, when you feel confusion or fear, just know that you are never alone. We all want more certainty on our path, more inner peace, more love in our lives. We want to know that we deserve love. This understanding starts with a journey within.

What do you need, in order to live more bravely? I hope that my stories encourage you to always consider your Self, to always honor your Self, in all of the choices and decisions that you make. Through my shared experiences and take-aways, I hope to inspire you to feel and act in ways that bring more happiness and well-being into your life.

I look back, in some of my stories, because it helps me see and feel just how far I’ve come. Moreover, when I reflect, I see old habits and patterns that kept me from being truly happy. But looking ahead is where my Posts are grounded. I take in new experiences and new knowledge, holding on to what’s helpful, while releasing what’s not.

I share my own daily process; which is, as Shakespeare wrote, “To thine ownself be true.” In other words, follow your heart. Be willing to seek its truth. Stick to what you know is true for you. Trust your gut.

Shakespeare ends his quote by saying that when you’re true to yourself, then “It must therefore follow, as the night the day, that thou cannot be false to any man.” He definitely inspires confidence and inner peace in these simple words: proof of just how enduring and important such stories are.
